The story behind the art

This mandala is an exploration of the light and the dark, and how they are intrinsically linked. How so much of life opens up when we learn to accept the light and the dark as forces that we need, both out in the world and within us. Half the drawing was created with white acrylic ink, and the other half was drawn in black acrylic ink, the opposite sides merging in the central yin yang tree of life.

Framing Details

• Classic frame: Simple, elegant frame handmade by specialist picture framers (20mm width, 23mm depth)
• Hanger frame: Hand-crafted, slim-line, solid wood hanger with discrete magnetic fastening to keep prints perfectly secure without tearing or marking 
• Window mount: Premium, textured mountboard (1.4mm). All mounts are "conservation grade", FSC certified, 100% acid free, and will not discolour or fade with age.
