This design is completely hand-drawn using fine line ink pens, the original is A2 size and took 60-70 hours of drawing to complete.

The story behind the art

This piece is themed around the thoughts and feelings in life that cannot be expressed in words. The light and dark variations as well as the interweaving elements map out an intricate web of contrasting thoughts and feelings. This is a eye-catching mandala has an impact from a distance, as well as revealing intricately detailed hand-drawn designs when up close. The overall impact is quite mesmerising, and really only seeing it in person does it justice!
