A fusion of mandala and floral design to bring some fresh Springtime bloom into your home. This design was created by Marie over 40 hours of hand drawing using fine line ink pens.

The story behind the art

A big life change. This was my first piece of art I worked on when I moved back to England, with an idea of planting some seeds and growing some roots in one place again. This piece represented the hope of growing through uncertainty, spreading out new branches, accepting the choice of being planted, and witnessing the blossoming of a new chapter. This called for organically structured piece, letting go of the symmetry and structure of a traditional mandala, and embracing the imperfect curves and flaws of nature.
